Summary

Are decals or passes required to park on campus? Yes they are.

Full Description

Faculty, staff, and students are reminded that all motor vehicles, including motorcycles and motorbikes, parked on William & Mary property must be registered with Parking Services and display an appropriate decal or temporary pass. For this year we also have short term and pay-as-you-go options available if a decal does not fit your need to park on campus. These options include daily scratcher passes, evening scratcher passes, and designated lots managed using the Passport Pay-by-phone app.

Parking decals must be purchased online through the T2 portal have a copy of the DMV registration and proof of insurance ready with you to ensure accuracy of the information provided.

Other Parking Options
Daily and Hourly Parking Options

If you are on campus at least two (2) days per week a decal is this most cost effective option. If on campus for shorter terms, or if you simply want the ability to manage your parking on an as needed basis then we have the following options available.

Daily Passes - You may request via e-mail to Parked@wm.edu purchase of day or evening scratcher passes. We offer them for F/S and Commuter students. Scratchers are sold in bundles of 5,10, or 20. Full day scratchers are $6 each, evening only scratchers valid after 4:00 pm are $3 each. All scratchers will be mailed to CSU boxes for all undergraduate students, and home addresses for Graduate students and Faculty & Staff members.  Passes can be ordered online at: Parking Passes Request form.

Pay as you go - Hourly parking is available for use in the Kaplan Arena Upper & Lower lots, the Grad Complex Overflow lot, and at the School of Ed lot 6. These areas are managed using the Passport Pay-by-phone app. To establish a session, download the app, or go to ppprk.com, take note of the zone you parked in and follow the prompts, pay for the time you plan to be in the lot, and you're done. With the app, users can monitor parking sessions, extend time remotely, view payment history, receive email receipts. You only pay for the time you are parked, no more, no less. Due to online credit card processing fees the minimum session time starts at 2 hours of parking and the hourly rate is $2.50/hr.
