Located in Merchants Square in Colonial Williamsburg, the William & Mary Bookstore, operated by Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, is the university's retail location for textbooks, general books and William & Mary memorabilia.
The bookstore sells both new and used textbooks, and features textbook rentals and an eTextbook digital textbook program as well. Students may rent or buy their textbooks either in person or online and the store offers a price match program with bn.com and Amazon.com (see website for complete details). William & Mary faculty can access FacultyEnlight through wm.bncollege.com to submit course and book information, review previous course books used and select new titles (From the homepage, click 'Textbooks' from the top rail, then select 'Faculty Resources'). The bookstore also buys back eligible used textbooks from students.
The William & Mary Bookstore offers over 125,000 general book titles, school and dorm supplies and William & Mary clothing and gifts. The bookstore is also the source for official class rings and graduation regalia and announcements. Additionally, it features a vast selection of magazines and periodicals, a technology store and an extensive children's department.
Upstairs at the Bookstore, you will find a café with plentiful seating available both indoors and on the outdoor terrace. Offerings include Starbucks beverages, decadent baked goods, and complete breakfast, lunch and dinner meal options.
The Bookstore offer the following in-store discounts everyday:
- Students: 20% off on clothing
- Faculty/Staff: 10% off on everything*
- Barnes & Noble Membership discounts
All university discounts require a valid William & Mary ID. In the case of Barnes & Noble Members, you must have your B&N Membership card with you. None of the discounts above apply to textbooks except where noted (*), gift cards, or Nook items.
The William & Mary Bookstore accepts cash, the William & Mary Express Card, major credit cards (Master Card, Discover, American Express) and Barnes & Noble Gift Cards.
