Campus Comprehensive Plan
The William & Mary Comprehensive Plan, guided by the university’s strategic plan, Vision 2026, provides a framework to guide future development of the university’s campuses and landholdings. The plan recommendations reflect a robust engagement process which provided the consultant team a detailed understanding of the university’s facility needs, strategic goals and other contingent issues to future development. While flexible in nature, the plan recommendations affirm W&M’s goals of academic excellence: student success, belonging, dynamic partnerships, resilient and sustainable land use, and financial sustainability.
The Campus Comprehensive Plan is a living document that guides the use and objectives for W&M's multiple campuses, and their current and future transformations. The Plan incorporates the Housing & Dining Facilities Plan (approved by the Board of Visitors in spring 2022), a Learning Spaces Plan and a 100-Year Landscape Plan.
