William & Mary commemorates the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the United States honoring those whose lives were lost or impacted.

		Forever Marked by the Day September 10, 2021 - January 9, 2022 \| Muscarelle Museum of Art A museum exhibit paying homage to the World Trade Center architects, artists, designers and photographers who made creativity triumph over destruction. Learn more about the event.
		Colonial Williamsburg Ceremony September 11, 2021 \| 8:45 a.m. \| Colonial Williamsburg Courthouse Steps President Katherine Rowe will join Colonial Williamsburg President Fleet and Williamsburg Mayor Pons to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11. Learn more about the event.
		Sunken Garden September 11, 2021 College Republicans and Young Democrats will place hundreds of American flags. Student Assembly will place a memorial wreath on the Sunken Garden steps, guarded by ROTC between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
		Wren Building September 11, 2021 The Wren Bell will ring 30 times honoring the 20th anniversary, seven alumni who lost their lives on 9/11, and 2 alumni and 1 student killed in service after 9/11. The bell will ring twice at 8:46 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. honoring the moment the first tower was hit and the second tower fell.
		W&M Football vs. Lafayette September 11, 2021 \| 6:00 p.m. \| Zable Stadium The Tribe will commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 with a moment of silence and team helmets will display a special red, white and blue logo. Learn more about the event.
