The Religious Studies Department offers a wide range of courses in the world's religions and in approaches to studying them. Students may choose courses from the following areas: Introductory Studies in Religion, Biblical Studies, Asian Religion, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Religious Ethics, and American Religion. See the Catalog for a list of courses taught in each area.

Beginning students will find the 150 and 200-level courses appropriate. But even many 300-level courses are open to freshmen. Introduction to Religion (RELG 201) is a great starting place for freshmen and sophomores.
