Pre-College Courses

In Summer 2026, NIAHD offered the following courses for Pre-College students:

Session 1: June 21-July 11, 2026

• History 217: The Road to the American Revolution
• History 218: The Road to the United States Civil War

 Session 2: July 12-August 1, 2026

• History 218: The Road to the United States Civil War
• History 219: American Independence

Notes on Enrollment

• Each participating student will be enrolled in one of the above four-credit courses. 
• Students are asked to indicate their preferred session and course when they apply to the program. 
• All courses are residential at the College of William & Mary. 
• Courses are open to students who have completed at least their freshman year of high school by the time the summer Program begins.  This includes rising sophomores, rising juniors, rising seniors, and rising college freshmen.
