Speaker Series
This Friday - Dr. Debarchana Ghosh October 27th 1 PM
The CGA invites you to our first Fall 2023 Speaker Series event this Friday.
Dr. Ghosh is an associate professor at the University of Connecticut. “Her research employs an interdisciplinary approach to investigate health issues with the goal of providing quantitative evidence for intervention and preventive policies.” We are lucky to have her as a speaker. She will be discussing ways to utilize mapping to better understand the relationship of health and place, while demonstrating the real-world value of maps. She will also be delving into her research in the health and epidemiology field. This talk will provide a new lens on the capabilities of GIS!
This event will take place on Zoom. If you’re interested, please RSVP by filling out this form.
