Committee on Degrees

The Committee on Degrees is comprised of four faculty members and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education. They review student petitions to exceptions to undergraduate degree requirements. The committee certifies and forwards to the Board of Visitors the names of students who have completed the requirements for undergraduate degrees. It meets once per month throughout the academic year.

For changing a standard letter grade to P/F. Petition for an exception to the current pass/fail policy. Note these requests are rarely approved, the circumstances must be extraordinary to warrant approval.
