Labs, Centers & Institutes

The ISC buildings are home to many of W&M’s research activities spanning a wide variety of areas. The facilities include a rooftop greenhouse, machine shop, glass-blowing faculty, instrument rooms and many research labs that are equipped with state-of-the-art biosafety cabinets, computing equipment, various levels of fume hoods and more. In addition to the ISC, W&M has more than 20 research centers and institutes in the humanities and social sciences, professional programs and the natural and computational sciences.
