Statement from President Rowe
“As the world witnesses Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the resulting damage to communities and human suffering is heartbreaking. Yet, the resolve of the Ukrainian people, their commitment to their sovereign nation and its democratic principles, reminds us that there are ideals worth fighting for. We’re seeing human beings put themselves at risk for that reason, and it’s inspiring as well as incredibly sobering.
During this time of immense unrest, it's been so moving to see the William & Mary campus come together in solidarity. Our scholars are helping us understand what is happening and why it matters while our students, faculty and staff are showing compassion, support and solidarity for the Ukrainian people as well as those in Russia and around the world opposing this war.”

Health & Wellness Resources
Resources are available to members of our campus community who may be experiencing difficulties in light of the events in Ukraine. Students may find those resources through Health & Wellness, and employees may find them through University Human Resources. Some Health & Wellness offerings may also be open to employees.
