Student Assembly

Representing and advocating for the interests of the William & Mary student body.

The Student Assembly of William & Mary is the university's student government organization representing every undergraduate class and graduate school.

Students have many opportunities to get involved in the Student Assembly at William & Mary.  Check out our events posted in TribeLink and our Instagram @wmstudentassembly for event and initiative information.

Note: Student Assembly has a special status at the university based on their designated authority to allocate Student Activity Fee funds. In matters related to the allocation of the Student Activity Fee, the organization is exercising their authority on behalf of the university.  In addition, Student Assembly regularly engages in programming activities and other initiatives as a student organization.  In these programming and other initiatives, Student Assembly is not considered an agent of the institution but is operating as a Recognized Student Organization at W&M.
