Hello Cascaders -
As we wrap up the initial content review phase of the university's new Digital Footprint Project, our team is re-focusing efforts on accessibility compliance.
Today we write to provide you with additional guidance and resources to help ensure the university's websites meet federal and state regulations for digital accessibility by the compliance deadline of April 24, 2026.
Updates & Details
- The Content Cleanup & Accessibility Compliance project hub has been updated.
- Within the hub you will find the latest accessibility compliance requirements and resources for all Cascade editors.
- We have added accessibility guidance and tips throughout the Cascade Help pages.
- Your site's point of contact (POC) has been provided with use of an external scanning tool, Acquia Web Governance, to guide this vital work.
- We encourage you to drop in on any of our semi-weekly Six Ways to Improve Your Web Accessibility online sessions.
