As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into everyday life, Dr. Rachel Chung helps students understand how it is changing the way people work, learn and make decisions. A clinical professor in William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business, she teaches business analytics and explores how AI and machine learning are reshaping organizations, industries and society.
Chung is a leader in William & Mary’s efforts to expand AI literacy, helping make emerging technologies more accessible to students and the broader university community. Her work draws connections among business, technology and the liberal arts, encouraging students to examine how people and machines learn from one another and how AI can be applied in a variety of contexts.
A recipient of multiple teaching awards, Chung is recognized for her contributions to education and innovation. Her scholarship and campus engagement help bring together perspectives from across disciplines to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
