Trainings & Strategic Broadening Seminars

WGC provides custom, specialized training in strategic broadening and leader development to help the military, public policy professionals, and interagency colleagues prepare for the challenges and opportunities on the national security landscape.

Most of our strategic broadening seminars are approximately 25 contact hours and individuals who successfully complete the program receive a transcript, Whole of Government Certificate, and academic credit (where applicable). We also run shorter programs of a few hours or days. These are held virtually, in-person, or in a hybrid learning environment. Our seminars have been used to satisfy the requirements for intermediate-level regional orientation courses for the Defense Security Cooperation University and other credentials.

Past seminars and broadening opportunities organized for Combatant Commands, interagency partners, and other stakeholders include:

  • Adversary Whole-of-Government Replication
  • Building Trust in Your Area of Responsibility
  • Countering Chinese Influence
  • Governance in Conflict and Post-Conflict Environments
  • Leveraging the Information Advantage
  • Navigating Great Power Competition

We are especially pleased to have the American Academy of Diplomacy as a partner for these opportunities. Their deep expertise pairs with our frameworks and academic foundations to create a truly elite learning environment for our program students.
