Matt is the Instructional Design Manager of William & Mary's Whole of Government Center of Excellence. He is a Learning Experience Designer committed to shaping transformative education. With a bachelor's in education from Longwood University, a master's from Old Dominion University, and certifications as a Google Educator and ISTE Certified Educator, Matt is dedicated to crafting engaging learning experiences that align content with project objectives. His professional goals include deepening his knowledge of adult learning theories and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop innovative and captivating learning experiences. With expertise in adult learning principles, e-learning tools, and effective communication, Matt is a collaborative maestro who ensures every educational journey is rooted in excellence. Born and raised in Newport News, VA, he indulges in diverse interests, including photography, skiing, field hockey, swimming, and hiking. Before his current role, Matt spent 11 years as a classroom teacher before focusing on adult education.
