National Suicide Prevention Week

Flag Exhibit: Tuesday – Friday (9/8 – 9/11)

1,100 flags will be displayed on the Wellness Center lawn representing the number of US college students who die by suicide each year.  Visit https://bit.ly/2XUOKtC to learn about suicide prevention.

Derek Kernus, an M.B.A. alum, will be joining us to talk about his experiences with suicide and depression. Derek is currently the Business Development Manager at DTS Consulting, a federal consulting firm based in Arlington, VA. He is excited to return to W&M to share his story and have an open conversation about his challenges with mental health, his path to recovery, and the events on and off campus that shaped his experiences.
