SAS Summer Connections Program 2026
SAS Summer Connections Program

Building Bridges of Connection
The SAS Summer Connections Program is a week-long supportive experience for incoming students to help them prepare for their arrival in the fall. The program provides an introduction to academic life, an acclimation to the campus, a chance to make social connections, learn advocacy skills, and practice essential college life skills.
We have created this specifically for students with disabilities, and our trained staff are familiar with their needs.
During the program, students will engage in mock class sessions, interact with peer leaders, and engage in social outings to build community and relationships. Participants will also be provided the opportunity to become familiar with numerous campus resources.
Schedule Highlights
- Introduction to Student Accessibility Services resources and staff
- Guidance on how to set up accommodations for the fall semester
- Academic and life skills sessions--navigating life as a college student

- Tours of campus, including the Sadler Center and Swem Library
- Exploration of the resources available at the Career Center
