About Me

Marlon was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Well-Being. After graduating from Mason, Marlon worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician at Little Leaves Behavioral Services in Ashburn, VA. There, he had the pleasure of working with children ages 3-6 on the autism spectrum.  Nothing was more fulfilling than working with his clients and seeing them acquire skill sets, overcome challenges, and meet their goals. Working with his clients’ families also allowed him to connect with something greater than himself and contribute to the growth and development of the little ones he cared for.

In August 2024, Marlon moved to Williamsburg to start his next chapter and begin his graduate program at William & Mary. He is working towards acquiring his M.Ed. in Counseling to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He hopes to work with LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities to overcome their daily challenges. As a Care Support Services graduate assistant, he is excited to work with the William & Mary community to support and advocate for students. When he’s not at work or hitting the books, he enjoys spending time outdoors, going on morning or evening walks, listening to music and adding records to his vinyl collection, or organizing movie/game nights with his loved ones.
