Across the Divisions is the internal newsletter for Student Affairs and Public Safety, designed to keep colleagues informed, connected and aligned. 

Published biweekly during the academic year, it highlights key updates, celebrates staff achievements and surfaces important information that supports collaboration across teams.

What to submit

We’re looking for content that helps colleagues stay informed and engaged across Student Affairs and Public Safety. Submissions may include: 

  • Major events or initiatives happening between editions
  • Hails, farewells and promotions
  • Program highlights or stories worth sharing
  • Departmental milestones or recognitions 
  • Opportunities for staff engagement 
  • News that both divisions need to know 

Who can submit

  • Submissions must come from Student Affairs staff, Public Safety staff or their designees 
  • Student organizations should instead use student-facing communication channels (e.g., Student Happenings) 

How to submit

Submission deadlines

  • Content is due Fridays at 5 PM prior to each publication 
  • Late submissions will be included in the next edition, if still relevant
