Marina LaMastro

About Marina

As a Global Education Advisor, Marina advises for the W&M Winter programs as well as third party study abroad in Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, and Greece. She also works closely with a number of campus partners to facilitate student career connections with experiences abroad. 

Prior to moving to Virginia, Marina taught oceanography, sailing, and scuba diving and managed study abroad programs with SeaMester while sailing over 25,000 nm. She was previously the Associate Director of Short-Term Programs at the University of Richmond. Marina received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and Masters in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Southampton. In her free time Marina enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cooking, crocheting, and reading.
