COVID-19 Update for Faculty: Due to the evolving coronavirus situation and the very real financial consequences, faculty who cannot use funds awarded due to coronavirus cancellations will not automatically be able to apply the funds to another conference or event.
New grants have been suspended until further notice. They will resume when we know what funds are available. We appreciate your understanding in this difficult time.
Funding is available to support William & Mary faculty who are hosting on-campus professional conferences that will contribute to international education at the College. Proposals making use of the university's Washington, D.C. Office are also welcome.
Applications for support are accepted on a rolling basis, but must be submitted at least two months before the proposed conference. Approved conferences will be funded up to $1,000 each.
All events supported by Reves Center funding must acknowledge this support in any publicity. In addition to other publicity efforts, the Reves Center can help publicize the conference by listing it on our website events calendar and circulating information through our community listserv. Event information may be submitted via the Event Promotion Request (a link to the form will also be sent with instructions in an email once funding is approved.) Information should be submitted at least one week before the scheduled event.
Following the event, please complete an Post-Event Evaluation Form, as feedback is valuable in helping us keep track of past events and improve future ones.
