Students Studying Away for Fall Semester 2026

Students studying away during the fall 2026 semester can sign a housing contract in early November 2026 on the housing portal for the spring 2027 semester.

Students Planning to Study Away for Spring Semester 2027

Students who plan to live on campus for the fall 2026 semester but plan to study away for the spring 2027 semester must sign a housing contract by the due date to be eligible to participate in the returning student room selection process. If the appropriate office notifies Residence Life, we will remove the spring 20276 housing assignment and billing.

Unconfirmed Study Away Plans for the 2026-27 Academic Year

We encourage you to participate in the room selection process if your study away plans are not finalized, which allows you to secure housing in case your plans fall through. You must sign a housing contract by the due date to be eligible to select a space during the returning student room selection process. If the appropriate office notifies Residence Life, we will remove the fall and spring housing assignments and billing.
