Old Dominion Hall

Opened in 1927. Renovated in 1937, 1972 & 2025.

Old Dominion (OD) Hall's 123 residents enjoy living on five recently renovated floors. During the fall, residents of OD have a short walk to Zable Stadium to cheer on the Tribe during Saturday football games.

Communal kitchenette on each are available on the lower-level, second, third and fourth floors and laundry is located on the lower-level with programming rooms and large community lounges. Hall Council also works with residents on planning activities for the building. It is common to find residents outside grilling or coming together for a study break while making s'mores!

Old Dominion Lower-Level Floor Room Details - Coming Soon!

Old Dominion Hall's lower-level includes a kitchen, the building laundry room, two lounges, a programming room, lobby area, three bathrooms (toilet/sink) and the area duty office. Stairwells are at the west end of the hall as well as a central/north stairwell. The elevator is in the central/south lobby area near north central stairwell.

Old Dominion Hall's first floor includes twenty-four bedrooms with access to nine single-use hall bathrooms, two bedrooms with attached private bathrooms, two lounges, and two study rooms. Stairwells are at both ends of the hall, as well as north and south central stairwells. The elevator is in the central/south lobby area near the central stairs.

Old Dominion Hall's fourth floor includes eight bedrooms with attached suite-style bathrooms, four bedrooms with access to two single-use hall bathrooms, one bedroom with an attached private bathroom, a staff apartment, a central lounge and a kitchen. Stairwells are at both ends of the hall, as well a central stairwell. The elevator is in the central/south of the building near the central stairs.

Furniture Specifications

The following table provides information about the furniture in the residence halls. Please note these specifications are only a guide, and furniture may vary from room to room.

Lofts, carpets, futons, TVs and microfridges can be rented from Dorms Direct. These items are set up in the room before check-in and removed after check-out in May by the supplying vendor.
