Course Catalogs

W&M catalogs are available online (current and recent), as PDFs (current and recent) and in a digital archive (1829 to present).

W&M 2025-26 UNDERGRADUATE & GRADUATE CATALOGS

In the online catalog, use the drop-down menu to select a catalog, such as “2025 - 2026 Undergraduate Catalog.” This menu allows you to choose current, recent, or archived editions.

Tips for navigating the online catalogs:

• Select the Index link in the main navigation menu to find catalog sections.
• The navigation menu includes links to major catalog areas. Familiarize yourself with each landing page.
• Select links at the top of most pages to "jump" to the content you seek.
• Class search is a great tool! Enter criteria such as  "C100" in the "Keyword or Phrase" box to see all classes that list that term in their descriptions.
• The Catalog Search tool is also robust, but your results will be easier to manage if you click "Modify Search Options" and include or exclude appropriate result types. Experiment with sorting by Alphabetical or Ranking order, too.
• The Graduate Catalog includes all six graduate/professional schools and faculties. University-wide information and policies applicable to all William & Mary graduate and professional students can be found by selecting "The University" from the navigation menu.
• Need a hard copy of a page or section? Select the printer icon to open a plain version of the text, then print it or save it as a PDF.

A grant from the W&M Committee on Sustainability made the online catalog project possible. As a result of this initiative, printed catalogs are no longer produced—saving approximately 750,000 sheets of paper each year, along with the energy required to print and distribute them.

Archived Catalogs

William & Mary Catalogs from 1829 to 2019 are available through the W&M Digital Archive. For PDF copies of the 2019 to current catalogs, please email [[registrar]].
