Training Tools
The Office of Student Affairs and the Student Affairs Assessment Committee use a variety of approaches to meet the assessment training needs of division staff. Contact the [[almroch, Director of Student Affairs Planning & Assessment]] for more information about any of following initiatives.
- Members of the assessment committee work in pairs to coach and consult with department directors as they design and execute their annual assessment plans.
- The Office of Student Affairs maintains a library of assessment materials and resources that division staff are welcome to borrow. Information is available on all aspects of the assessment process, from writing outcomes and selecting appropriate assessment methods, to using assessment results to guide changes. There are also resources about the history, theory, and philosophy of assessment for the true enthusiasts.
