Bio: Liz is the Senior Director of Gender-Based Violence Resources & Advocacy Services in the Division of Student Affairs. Liz has extensive experience in sexual and intimate partner violence prevention, advocacy, and counseling, including restorative justice and adaptable resolution. Liz has a master’s degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Bio: Emily Gerst serves as the Director of Conflict Resolution & Education in Student Affairs. A seasoned coach, facilitator, mediator, and trainer, her experience includes mediating in the California Superior Court system, restorative justice work with the US Department of Justice, and training college students, faculty, and staff across the country in good conflict skills . She holds her master's in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University.

Bio: Rick is Chancellor Professor Emeritus from the W&M School of Education. He is an expert in counseling and has served in a wide array of faculty leadership roles. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.

Bio: Laura is the James G. Cutler Professor of Law at W&M Law School. A former Vice Dean of the Law School and the co-founder of a leadership training program for first-year students, Laura has extensive experience in helping others to think creatively about professional challenges. As a first-generation college graduate, she has a particular appreciation for the different backgrounds and experiences that people bring to their professional lives. Laura earned her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
