Affinity Groups
Affinity groups organized by William & Mary employees provide programming on topics that celebrate the diversity of the W&M community. Participation in affinity groups is not limited on the basis of race, sex, national origin, veteran status, disability or other personal characteristics. All employees interested in the programming of an affinity group are welcome to participate. Established affinity groups are identified below. If you are a current employee interested in creating an affinity group, please contact the Senior Advisor to the President at [[oie]].
Note: Affinity groups are voluntary, employee-led communities designed to foster inclusion, networking, and professional development. They are not labor organizations and do not engage in collective bargaining or represent employees in employment-related negotiations. Participation is entirely voluntary and does not affect employment status, compensation, or benefits. Affinity groups do not speak on behalf of the university.
