Chapter Overview & History
The Theta Delta Chi Chapter at William & Mary was established in 1853, making it one of the university’s longest-standing fraternities. Founded nationally on October 31, 1847, Theta Delta Chi has a deep-rooted tradition of developing men who value growth, responsibility, and brotherhood.
At William & Mary, TDX is dedicated to fostering excellence across academics, physical wellness, and social engagement. The chapter consistently strives for top academic performance within Greek Life by encouraging disciplined study habits, major-specific academic support, and peer accountability. Members also prioritize physical health, motivating one another to grow stronger mentally and physically through shared fitness goals.
Beyond academics and wellness, Theta Delta Chi promotes meaningful social growth through values-aligned events and strong alumni engagement. Alumni remain actively involved by providing mentorship, professional connections, and scholarship opportunities, reinforcing a culture of support and lifelong brotherhood rooted in respect and accountability.

Membership Information
- Joining Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Chapter Dues: $400 initiation fee and $62 per semester
