Chapter Overview & History
The Alpha Zeta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Order was founded at William & Mary on January 3, 1890, making it one of the oldest fraternities on campus. Founded nationally on December 21, 1865, Kappa Alpha Order has a long-standing tradition of developing principled leaders and fostering lifelong brotherhood.
At William & Mary, Alpha Zeta is committed to cultivating leadership, academic excellence, and service within a brotherhood rooted in honor and respect. Members are actively engaged in campus life and community service while upholding the ideals of integrity, responsibility, and personal development.
With a strong presence in Fraternity & Sorority Housing and a nationally recognized commitment to scholarship, the Alpha Zeta Chapter offers a well-rounded fraternity experience that emphasizes character, connection, and lifelong growth.
