The university reserves the right to make changes in its charges for any and all programs at any time, after approval by the Board of Visitors.
Tuition and fees for Fall 2025 are expected to be billed July 10, 2025 and are due August 1, 2025. Tuition and fees for Spring 2026 are expected to be billed December 10, 2025 and are due January 1, 2026. Students whose payments are received after the due date may be assessed a late payment fee of up to 10% of the outstanding balance.
Graduate Arts & Sciences, School of Education, Batten School (VIMS), and the School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics
Graduate Arts & Science Masters in Public Policy students will be charged a one-time Student Activity fee of $400.00.
Graduate Education students enrolled in licensure programs will be charged a one-time LiveText fee of $150. Additionally, Graduate Education students enrolled in master’s level counseling programs will be charged a one-time Supervision Assist fee of $197.
A Continuous Enrollment fee of $150.00 per semester is charged to Grad A&S and Grad CDSP students who continue to work on their dissertations/thesis but are not taking a specific class.
The online MBA, MSBA, Marketing and Finance programs follow a different tuition schedule based on their course of study. Please refer to the Online Graduate Program tuition pagefor further information.
