Community Values & Restorative Practices

Fostering Personal Growth and Responsibility

W&M's community values include personal and academic integrity, concern and appreciation for the rights of others, and acceptance of personal responsibility. The Honor Code, the Student Code of Conduct, and other university policies reflect and maintain these values.

CVRP staff members are available to provide information to students, faculty, and staff about our community's standards, to provide information about relevant procedures, and to discuss and receive reports related to students or student groups.

Please refer to the Student Handbook (pdf) for a complete explanation of the Conduct and Honor processes.

The Codes provide not only your duties as members of the community, but also your rights--rights to live independently and safely, and rights to be judged academically on a level playing field on the basis of your own effort and ability.

If you are here because you are concerned about a possible act of student misconduct, you can submit a violation report to CVRP.
