Center Stage is a new event series at the Washington Center that brings compelling scholarship, bold ideas and timely conversations to public audiences in Washington, D.C. We invite members of the W&M community to apply to be featured speakers or to nominate colleagues whose work deserves a wider audience.
Some of the most exciting work at William & Mary never reaches a public audience. Center Stage brings that work into conversation, connecting scholarship and practice with a broader community.
- Applications are open and will be reviewed in July 2026. W&M staff, faculty and scholars are encouraged to apply. Submissions aligned with W&M’s Year of Civic Leadership will receive priority consideration for our inaugural season.
