Conflict Resolution & Education
Got conflict? We got you.
Conflict Resolution & Education provides services, support, and resources that empower the William & Mary community to navigate difficult conversations well and resolve issues productively.
At their core, conflicts show us opportunities for reflection and change. We value and promote conflict navigation that fosters individual growth, relational health, and community transformation.
We are committed to using restorative practices to build and strengthen our sense of community, to address issues proactively, and to engage respectfully across differences.
What We Do
Preventative & Proactive
Most of us only think about conflict once it's happening, but the best time to think about conflict is before it happens. CRE is committed to creating a strong campus community that handles challenging moments well, through skill-building, dialogue facilitation, and ongoing resourcing.
Responsive & Flexible
In the midst of a sensitive situation, intense conflict, or difficult group dynamic, CRE can help coach you to respond well and facilitate processes that help bring greater understanding, closure, and resolution. Our services are flexible to meet your needs and are developed collaboratively with everyone involved.
