Community-Engaged Faculty Accelerator
The Community-Engaged Faculty Accelerator provides training, cohort-based learning, and a minimum of $1,000 stipend to each of five faculty to strengthen their community-engaged teaching, learning, or scholarship. Begun by the Presidential Council for Community Partnerships, the Accelerator is now a program of Civic & Community Engagement.
Goals
Participating faculty will:
- Advance the goal of expanding and deepening community-partnered teaching, learning, and scholarship
- Develop relationships to expand their networks and offer ongoing support and mutual mentoring
- Be equipped with tools to develop one actionable idea to accelerate their community-engaged (CE) work in the coming year
