For all carriers deliveries, use this address format:

Address Clarification and Usage Guidelines

Use your legal name. If you have set a preferred name in Banner, you may use that instead.

Please refrain from using any other University housing address.

You will be responsible for the transportation of items to your room.

• You will receive an email from parcel@wm.edu when an item is ready for pick up at the postal service pick up windows
• Mail will be held for up to 30 days.
• Please allow at least one hour from the time you receive the email notification from parcel@wm.edu before coming to pick up (this may be longer during peak times).
• Bring your Tribe Card for reference at time of pick up.
• Emails received from intelligentlockers@pb.com mean that your item is in one of the lockers located in our lobby. You can pick up from the locker kiosk anytime Sadler Center is open by scanning the QR code from the email, entering the passcode in the email, or typing in your 9#.
• Empty the locker completely, packages may be assigned to the same locker. Before closing the door, double-check that the locker is completely empty. Do not leave any items behind.
• Check the whole bank, multiple lockers may open at the same time for a single delivery or retrieval. Always look at the entire locker bank to ensure you haven't left any other doors open or packages inside a different compartment.

• When ordering items over the summer please make sure to use your home address and not your school address. Postal Services does not hold mail over the summer, unless you are on campus.
• (USPS) will forward all letters addressed to you (beginning the week after graduation) to your designated forwarding address on file. Please notify us of your updated mailing address before your graduation date to avoid any disruption in service
• We are unable to forward any packages to an alternate address. Packages must bear a valid, updated shipping label in order for us to process a forwarding request. If we are unable to reach you within one week of receiving your package, it will be returned to the sender.

The United States Post Office does not recognize our physical street address as a delivery point. To receive items sent through the United States Post Office, please use the following address format:

Other carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and DHL will not deliver to PO boxes. When sending anything through a carrier that requires a physical street address for delivery, please use the following address format:

Sending a package out through our campus mail room? Due to recent updates from USPS, items may be sent without a tracking number unless specifically requested, and items with tracking requests may take longer to process depending on current shipping volume.

Please utilize the updated mail authorization form to request tracked shipping. 

• All mail to be metered needs a Mail Authorization Form. This can be found on the Postal Services Website. You do not need a form for each piece of mail, just total the types of mail in the rows. It is helpful to have a partially completed form containing the information that will not change and then you can fill in the daily amounts you send.
• We can seal letter mail, but not flats. Please see the attached picture of how to stack mail that needs to be sealed. If you seal your mail, please seal every piece.
• Please ensure all mail is facing the same direction and is oriented the same way in the stack.
• Please separate the international mail even if you only put the international on top of the stack.
• All international packages require the sender to complete a customs form. All letters and flats that weigh 16oz or more also require the sender to complete a customs form. For help completing a customs form please visit USPS.com® - Customs Forms.
• If your package is in USPS-provided Priority Mail packaging it must be mailed with Priority Service. It can’t be mailed First Class. Also be aware that any item weighing over 13 oz. must be shipped Priority.
• Please separate mail that does not require postage. You do not need a Mail Authorization for this mail.
• When possible please include your department and/or name in the return address. This is to help us get the mail back to you if USPS returns it for any reason.
• Failing to adhere to some of these guidelines may result in higher postal costs or delays in mail delivery.
