Textbook Adoptions
1693 Provisions Online Bookstore, operated by eCampus, provides the Adoption & Insights Portal (AIP) for faculty to discover, select and monitor course material adoptions for William & Mary students.
Discover Course Materials
The Adoption & Insights Portal allows faculty members the ability to research and monitor textbook costs and affordability options for students. Searching by ISBN or keywords, faculty members see upfront the costs associated with course materials, and are provided the opportunity to research Open Educational Resources (OER) as affordable solutions.
Select Course Materials
Selecting course materials in a timely manner ensures that students receive the best and most affordable options. Once courses information is loaded in AIP, faculty members can re-select previous adoptions, search for new materials, select whether textbooks are required vs. optional and leave book-specific messages for students.
Monitor Course Materials
AIP also allows faculty members to monitor the best course materials and educational tools utilized by eCampus. Learn more about the variety of delivery models (New, Used, Rental, Digital) and the Price Match Program.
Submitting course materials in a timely manner ensures that W&M is compliant with the 2008 Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) which requires that course materials and costs are made available to students at the time of course registration.
