The Department of Religious Studies is proud to announce that the COS Steering Committee has decided to support student, Christopher Ahrens, summer research proposal, Towards A
Uniform Environmental Praxis for Muslim Communities in Virginia, along with his advisor, our very own Faraz Sheikh!

The project will be completed over the summer, with the final report presented in August 2018. Please look forward to his work and a future news story feature coming this fall.
