Prohibited Items List

 The following items are NOT PERMITTED in residence halls, as stated in W&M’s Residence Life Housing Contract and Guide.

Reminder: Possessing any prohibited items may result in disciplinary action including, but not limited to, expulsion.

• Animals (excluding approved service animals)
• Chain Locks for doors
• Stun Guns / Tasers (and other self-defense weapons)
• Halogen Lamps
• Candles / Incense
• Electrical Cooking Appliances (hot pots, toasters, portable electric cooking devices, etc.)
• Dangerous Materials (fireworks, explosives, firearms, knives, gasoline, combustible liquids, etc.)
• NIAHD reserves the right to add items to this list at any time.
