Minor in FMST

A minor in Film and Media Studies can enhance any major. Every discipline at W&M depends on media, from print to digital imaging to 3-D Printing. Most disciplines treat these media as unproblematic conduits to information or content. Film and Media Studies attend to the qualities of specific media and examine how information and content are shaped, critically, by the media used to convey them.

An FMST minor, then, can help you expand your general understanding of media mechanisms and histories and help you see your major and other areas of study in new ways.

You can find the form for Declaring an FMST Minor here.
