Pay Your Deposit Online

First Things First

Have you activated your W&M username? If not, follow the instructions to activate your W&M account.

You will be able to pay your deposit online by credit card or electronic check.

There is an additional non-refundable 2.95% fee charged (minimum $3). International credit cards are subject to a 4.25% non-refundable service fee.
American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted.
You will receive an initial email immediately following the completion of your online transaction (this email will be sent to the email address you provide during the online transaction and will be sent from our online payment service).
A second email confirmation will come within 1-2 business days from W&M to your application email address. This will confirm receipt of your deposit and will provide instructions for activating your email account.

Click the Pay Your Deposit button below.
Sign in using your W&M username that you activated on the Activate page. It is often your first and middle initial and your last name plus @wm.edu. For example, Reveley the Griffin would be rtgriffin@wm.edu, though it can sometimes contain a number at the end, like rtgriffin02@wm.edu.
Select the term for which you are applying — Fall 2026 (beginning in August 2026).
Select the deposit appropriate to you — First-year student deposits are $350.
