We're sure you've noticed - the W&M website features lots of great photography. And it comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Here are the definitions and details:
Content Images: these are usually sprinkled throughout the content (ie: text) of your website.
Widget Images: widgets dwell in the right column - here are the image specs.
Directory Photos: photos of faculty and staff created specifically for faculty directory pages.
Photosets: a group of scrolling images that appear near the top of news stories and features.
Photo Galleries: a set of full-screen, cross-fading photographs (with captions).
News/Feature Thumbnails: news stories and features use square thumbnails.
Banner Photos: Banners are the wide-angle photographs at the top of every W&M web page.
Built-in Image Editor: For minor transformations of your images directly in Cascade.
External Image Editors: Recommended software and free online editors for your images.
