View Page Analytics Within Cascade

Recently the Cascade Analytics feature transitioned to use a new data source called Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Editors accustomed to using this feature should read on to learn about the impacts.

Analytics can give us a better understanding of how people are using our sites. Cascade provides simple, inline analytics that give you quick access to valuable stats like views, sessions, engagement rate and more.

To view analytics in Cascade:

Select the folder or page
Select the More menu
Select Analytics

Note: to view data for an index page, select that page's folder.

You can toggle date ranges to review the data for the past day, week, month or year. For www.wm.edu the Cascade Analytics data begins on August 21, 2023. Use the 'month' and 'year' views accordingly.

If you do not see data when you select the Analytics feature for your pages or if you have questions about the start date of your GA4 data, please contact your Cascade Manager.
