Students, staff and most faculty will automatically be given a WMuserid. However, there are a few categories of people where a WMuserid must be requested. An affiliate WMuserid account may be requested for:
- visiting professors who are not teaching
- affiliated individuals who are not students, not employees and not teaching
- contractors needing door access (Contractor accounts don't have access to IT services)
