Financial Assistance

Jessica Belton, MS 2013Qualified full-time students meeting the research needs of the faculty are usually awarded a hybrid Research & Teaching Assistantship. Up to two years of financial aid is available to MS candidates remaining in good academic standing and satisfactorily carrying out their assigned duties.

Base financial aid package:

  • Twelve Month Assistantship Stipends (2016-2017) - $20,000
  • Academic Year Tuition & Fees - fully covered
  • Summer Tuition – fully covered or none (depends on credits earned)

Supplemental Fellowships:

  • Graduate Studies Advisory Board Diversity Fellowship: $3,500/yr for up to two years
  • Graduate Studies Advisory Board Master’s Recruitment Fellowship: $2,000/yr for up to two years
  • Office of Graduate Studies & Research Recruitment Fellowship: $2,000/yr for up to two years
  • Kranbuehl-Thompson Graduate Fellowship: $800/yr
