The Office of William & Mary Military & Veteran Affairs, led by the Special Assistant to the President for Military & Veteran Affairs, helps coordinate and support existing military and veteran programs across the university and forges connections with external partners across military commands, corporations, veteran executives, alumni, federal programs, and other universities. In addition, the Special Assistant oversees the Veteran-to-Executive Transition (W&M VET) program. 

Veteran-to-Executive Transition Program (W&M VET)

W&M VET is designed to leverage resources and expertise across the university to support and empower military veterans in their successful transition into high-level civilian management positions. This innovative and dynamic approach to veteran support will transform corporate access to proven leaders. In contrast to other transition programs, W&M VET takes a more comprehensive approach, bringing together acclaimed programs and resources from across the university with an emphasis on holistic wellness and key management skills. W&M VET Program

The William & Mary Veteran-to-Executive Transition program provides comprehensive career transition support that spans the university’s acclaimed programs in business, law, international affairs, education, health management, entrepreneurship, and other disciplines to prepare veterans to excel in civilian leadership roles.
