Under the instruction of Professor Leisa Meyer and Professor Jay Watkins, the LGBTIQ Research Project will be offering training sessions on oral history methodologies for students who wish to participate in recording oral histories during the Project's three semesterly trips to Diversity Richmond.

Please join the LGBTIQ Research Project for one of our training sessions on oral history methodologies! Led by Professor Meyer and Professor Watkins, these sessions will introduce students to the methodological context of oral history's development and will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of oral history practice.

Please note that students who intend to participate in recording oral histories during the Project's three semesterly trips to Diversity Richmond must attend at least one of the offered training sessions. Please see the below information for the dates, times, and locations of the two training sessions offered this semester.
