Conservationist in Residence Program

The Institute for Integrative Conservation's Conservationist in Residence Program brings accomplished conservation leaders from around the world to William & Mary for immersive, week-long residencies that connect conservation practice, leadership and education. Through keynote presentations, classroom engagement, mentoring, collaborative discussions and informal conversations, Conservationists in Residence share firsthand leadership experiences while working alongside students, faculty, staff and community partners.

The program reflects William & Mary's commitment to experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership development by creating meaningful opportunities to learn directly from practitioners addressing some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges.
