Hello POCs -

Acquia Web Governance Changes

You may have noticed that the Acquia Web Governance (AWG) platform has an updated design for the navigation and enhanced functionality for the accessibility module — we like the enhancements and think you will too! The updates will improve your workflows, streamlining the process to track and manage your accessibility reviews.

Our Acquia Web Governance help pages have been updated to reflect the changes in detail, but here are a few highlights:

the Checklist view is now the Issues by Type view
all accessibility checks are now organized in two categories - Automated Checks and Assisted Checks
when you review content flagged by the Assisted Checks, you can mark it as "Confirmed as an issue" to fix or "Ignored" to clear it from your reports

Updated Compliance Requirements for POCs - Webpages & Images

These AWG enhancements impact our instructions for POCs to track and manage their accessibility compliance for webpages and images. Our Accessibility Compliance help page reflects these changes in detail, but in summary, POCs should now:

Resolve all issues for "Automated checks" on the Issues by Type screen.
Review and resolve all issues for "Assisted checks" on your Issues by Type screen.
The document review guidance remains the same.
