Carnegie Selected as Digital Footprint Partner
Summary
March 3, 2026 : William & Mary will partner with Carnegie on the university web redesign project.
Full Description
After completing the evaluation process, William & Mary has selected Carnegie as our partner for the external website redesign and content management system (CMS) implementation of the digital footprint work.
This decision followed a comprehensive review process that included written proposals, finalist presentations, clarification discussions, cost revisions and reference checks. Through that process, Carnegie demonstrated the strongest overall alignment with our goals, a clear understanding of our institutional priorities and constraints, and extensive experience supporting higher-education digital ecosystem initiatives of this scale.
Large, complex projects like this require thoughtful deliberation and early stakeholder engagement and feedback. Over the coming weeks, we will hold a partner kickoff meeting and begin a series of discovery sessions and a stakeholder survey designed to gather insights, identify priorities and help shape the future direction of the project.
