Study Abroad, transportation, building access or physical access to campus
  • Reves Center- find information about disability resources for students studying abroad
  • Campus map- find your way around campus, get directions to buildings, find information about parking and building access. There are also printable campus maps (pdf).
  • Construction on campus. The facilities management current projects page provides information about current construction projects, to help you plan your travel around campus.
  • Building information - information about access to academic and administration buildings (including VIMS), athletic venues and residence halls  and Library Accessibility Services and Resources. This project is ongoing; information will be continually added and updated.
  • Reporting a barrier to access. Students, faculty, staff and visitors may report any access barriers using the Report a Barrier form.
  • If you have a facilities service request, such as heating and cooling issues, lock or card reader issues or if you need custodial services needs, please use Facilities Management's service request form or email Work Control [[workor]].
  • As part of the university's efforts to provide an inclusive and respectful campus environment that is responsive to the needs of our community, single occupancy restrooms and shower facilities on campus are designated as All Gender. Learn more about gender neutral facilities on campus.
  • Accessible parking locations (pdf) for students, employees and visitors are available across campus. A state-issued license plate or hangtag is required to park in these spaces. An appropriate W&M parking pass also required.
  • The Williamsburg Area Transit Authority provides a fully accessible fixed route bus system. Other services are also available.

  • The Watson Assistive Technology Center enhances educational access through technology and is available to students, faculty and staff.
  • University Web & Design supports faculty and staff in creating accessible websites including resources for making documents accessible that will be included on university websites.
  • William & Mary is committed to ensuring the website and documents located on the site are accessible to all. Website visitors who experience difficulties accessing documents or completing forms due to a disability are encouraged to contact the applicable office for assistance.
